Your wedding weekend begins on Friday with a relaxed arrival, where you can take in the beauty of our surroundings and unwind by the pool. It's the perfect time to decompress after your journey and prepare for the big day.
Saturday is your big day! The ceremony can take place in our garden or at one of the many nearby churches, followed by an unforgettable wedding celebration. With flexible spaces, you can arrange both mingling and seated dinners, whether you choose to celebrate indoors or under an outdoor marquee. The festivities can continue late into the night, and you’ll have exclusive access to our main building for your guests.
Sunday is best concluded with a shared brunch for those staying overnight, where you can relive the highlights of the day before and enjoy one last dip in the pool before checking out.

Facilities and Capacity
Villa Alskog is a place rich in history and charm, ideal for those seeking a special atmosphere for their event. Our indoor spaces are approved by fire authorities for up to 80 mingling guests. For seated dinners, we recommend up to 40 guests in a single room, with the option to expand to accommodate up to 60 guests using two adjoining rooms in an L-shape. We have tables and chairs for approximately 25 seated guests, but we’re happy to help create a layout that suits your needs with rented furniture. Outdoors, in a marquee, it’s possible to host 100+ guests.
When booking an event, you’ll have exclusive access to the ground floor of the main building of the former rectory, which includes the spacious, fully equipped kitchen, the library, and the grand hall for celebrations. Depending on your preferences, the dinner can be held either indoors or outdoors. For marquee rentals and additional furniture, we recommend Visby Hyrtält.
Dining
Our large kitchen is equipped to meet all your needs, featuring a robust stove, multiple ovens, a professional dishwasher, and all the tools necessary to prepare a first-class meal. For those who prefer to leave the cooking to someone else, we offer catering services through our partner Egil Kök. They can tailor everything from a simple, private dinner to a grand wedding feast for over 100 guests.
For outdoor events, there are spacious areas perfect for creating an unforgettable barbecue evening or a relaxed pool party the night before your wedding. Guests have access to both gas and charcoal grills and are welcome to bring their own equipment if desired.
Please note that Villa Alskog has a liquor license, which means all alcohol served must be purchased through us. It is not permitted to bring your own alcohol onto the premises.
Accommodation
We offer eight rooms with space for approximately 18–20 overnight guests. When booking an event, all rooms are reserved for two nights (Friday to Sunday). For larger groups, there are additional accommodation options in nearby areas such as Ljugarn, När, and Stånga, which we’d be happy to recommend.
