Villa Alskog is a small-scale boutique hotel in eastern Gotland, just five minutes from the beaches of Ljugarn. Here you stay in an environment where design, privacy, and genuine hospitality meet – with only five personal rooms, morning yoga by the pool, and breakfast baskets delivered to your door. We welcome you to a place created with heart and care, where every detail carries our own story.

Villa Alskog is a family-run boutique hotel on Gotland, where the small scale creates a personal and relaxing experience. With only five rooms – all with private bathroom, Smart TV and refrigerator – we offer an exclusive and homely alternative to traditional hotels.
During summer weeks 27–31, we open our summer hotel for vacationers looking for child-friendly yet stylish accommodation on Gotland. The rest of the year, we host private parties, weddings, and smaller conferences.
With us, the day begins with morning yoga by the pool and a well-composed breakfast basket filled with Gotlandic flavors. In the afternoon, a dip in the heated pool awaits, and evenings bring sunset views over the fields, where the neighbor's sheep often wander by.

Our Story
Our journey to Villa Alskog began long before we moved here. In 2009, just a month after we got together, we bought our first shared summer cottage on Gotland – a place that quickly became our anchor during ten years of intense work life and traveling, including a few years in New York.
When the pandemic opened the door to remote work in 2021, we took the full step: we left Stockholm's startup scene together with our three children and moved permanently to Gotland to create something of our own.
Since then, we have renovated, developed, and built Villa Alskog piece by piece – always with the goal of creating a home that others can experience too. Our philosophy is simple: nothing should be impersonal or routine. Every room, every breakfast basket, every detail is carefully selected and designed to give a sense of care, beauty, and rest.
Villa Alskog continues to evolve, with respect for the soul of the place and with the dream that every guest should feel at home!
