Conference & Team Building in Gotland

Leave the conference room behind and move into a Gotland limestone house, entirely to yourselves. At Villa Alskog you rent the whole house on a self-catering basis – for a kick-off, a few days of planning or your team’s Christmas party. There is room for up to 14 guests sharing double rooms, or 8 if everyone has a room of their own.

Kick-offs and planning days

The house becomes your meeting room. The living room with its fireplace is made for workshops, the library for focused conversations and the kitchen island for everything that comes up between sessions. There are flip charts, a whiteboard and a TV for screen sharing – and plenty of rooms indoors and out where you can split into breakout sessions.

Christmas dinner and Christmas party

Gather the team in an old rectory as darkness falls. Light the fire, lay a long table in the country kitchen and let the evening take its time. Cook the Christmas dinner together or bring in caterers – afterwards you simply head upstairs to bed and wake up to breakfast in the countryside.

Food your way

You rent on a self-catering basis and decide for yourselves how you want to eat. Bring in caterers, pick up lunch in town or cook dinner together in our 50 sqm country kitchen – team building that everyone can join in. We are happy to recommend farm shops nearby so you can shop and cook locally.

A sample programme

Most groups arrive in the morning of day one and stay until lunch on day two.

Day 1: Arrive around ten and get straight to work. After lunch – perhaps picked up in town – there is time for more sessions in the living room and an afternoon fika. In the evening you cook dinner together in the country kitchen and round off with a swim in the pool or games by the fire.

Day 2: Start the day with a walk along the fields and breakfast. Then carry on working, perhaps in smaller groups in different rooms of the house, and come together for a final session before lunch and check-out.
