About Villa Alskog

Are you looking for something more personal than an ordinary hotel on Gotland?

Villa Alskog is our home – and perhaps your next vacation destination? Here, in the heart of Gotland's beautiful countryside, we offer an experience that is both genuine and unique. For those seeking more than just a place to stay, we open our home to share our limestone dream with you!

We, Karin and Björn, live here year-round with our three children, and during a few select summer weeks, we invite guests to our oasis. Our ambition is to create a warm and personal atmosphere that blends the comfort of home with a sophisticated experience.

We offer five individually designed rooms, including two spacious family suites – perfect for larger families looking for ample space. Four-legged friends are also welcome in several of our rooms, making it possible for the whole family to enjoy the stay together.

Every detail, from the soft down pillows to the breakfast filled with Gotland delicacies, from the pool area to the views over rolling fields, has been carefully selected. Here, you can feel at home, but with that little extra care that makes your stay truly unforgettable.

ROOMS

OUR ROOMS

Villa Alskog offers a total of five individually designed hotel rooms, each with its own character and charm. Three of the rooms are located in the main building, while two can be found in our Annex. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom, Smart TV, refrigerator, and kettle to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Room 1 and Room 3: Our spacious family suites in the main building. Perfect for larger families or groups seeking ample space and two separate bedrooms.
Room 2: A charming mini-suite in the main building, ideal for couples or smaller families wanting a larger room beneath the exposed beams.
Room 4: An allergy-friendly double room in the Annex, reserved for guests who prefer a pet-free environment.
Room 5: A family room in the Annex, accommodating families of up to four people.

Four-legged friends are welcome in all rooms except Room 4 in the Annex. This ensures that the entire family – including your pets – can enjoy the stay together.

OUR SERVICES

Breakfast

Every morning, a breakfast basket is delivered to the room. We offer vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free alternatives as standard options.

Free Wifi

The summer of 2023, we opened a restaurant featuring dishes emphasizing the flavors of the season. We have a full bar service.

Pool

The pool is integrated into the Gotland landscape, offering views of the fields beyond.

The heated pool opens in May and closes in September/October, depending on the weather.

Dogs

We welcome dogs in four of the rooms and all common areas. Dogs should be kept on a leash.

We provide dog beds and water bowls on request.

Free Wifi

Wifi is available throughout the property.

Charging

As part of our sustainability efforts, we have three electric vehicle chargers available for our guests.

Weddings

WEDDING

Ten years ago, we got married on Gotland in the garden of our summer cottage with a view over the fields. Incredibly beautiful! We now want to offer this experience to others as we once again have a garden overlooking the Gotland countryside, neighboring sheep pastures and fields.

It is now possible to exclusively rent the entire Villa Alskog for you and your guests. We can accommodate a total of 19 guests. We have a smaller indoor lounge and spacious outdoor areas, including a pool where you can host events like a pool party. If you are looking for a wedding venue or a place to have a pre-wedding celebration, feel free to reach out!
